Pacific Northwest Waterfall Elopement: Todd & Hannah

Couple: Todd & Hannah

A wedding haiku…Looking up you see, falling vertical river, here our lives join.

Hannah and Todd’s day was a perfect medley of the best parts of a wedding, and the best parts of an elopement. They rented a beautiful house in Pleasant Harbor Marina in Brinnon, WA; a very quintessential PNW spot along the Hood Canal. The ceremony was held at Rocky Brook Falls, a place where Hannah’s dad took her as a child. The two stood up high in front of the waterfall as their guests pulled up a log or a rock below. Afterwards we headed back to Pleasant Harbor where Hannah and Todd went on a love ride in Hannah’s dad’s cherished canoe that has been with them since the 70’s. Hannah worked along side of me shooting many weddings over the years, so being chosen to document her and Todd’s day was truly an extra special honor and pleasure. You two could move mountains if you wanted – I am so happy for you both, and thank you again for letting me be a part of this celebration! – Petrichor Photo
