Romantic & Rich Moroccan Inspiration

Style Story:Moroccan Romance

Morocco’s rich culture is reflected in this alluring styled shoot, characterized by bold, vibrant colors. Stylistically conceived by Modern Day Events and hosted in the Texas hill country by D6 Retreat, this shoot could inspire any bride who wants a bright and lush wedding look. The look was anything but subtle with shades of red and accents of blue and gold. The table is flush with a bright red linen which pools around the ground to also provide seating. The setting on the table utilized gold charging plates, green transparent plates delicately placed on top, and finished off with an exotic red and gold flower on top. Accenting the plates are lovely gold cutlery and blue and gold goblets, all of which provide a rich contrast to the flowing red table linens. The flowers placed in the center of the table, designed by Flower Nomad, provide dimension and height to the table. The shades of red and yellow are a complementary contrast to the green flowing from the arrangement.
The hand painted henna cake, by Get Caked, sits upon a soft gold cake stand that has five tiers. The cake starts off with a blue bottom with the base of it framed in gold etching. The middle tiers are shades of tan and light pinks, with the middle pink tier adorned with an intricate gold design. The tan tiers have almost a marbled look to them, and the shades help draw your eye to the middle pink tier. Topping this amazing cake is a bright pink top tier, with even more gold design work on it. The cake, with its height and bright colors, is the star of the show.
The couple looks cozy at the table—the bride in a bohemian inspired dress with a blue skirt, a delicate white lace top and floral belt by Renegade Bridal. A striking black and gold necklace by A Tak Crafts fits perfectly in the neckline. The groom is a vibrant contrast to his wife, wearing a dark tux with a bright pink shirt, from Xedo Tuxedo, with red and yellow flowers on his lapel. The pops of colors from their outfits making the shoot visually dynamic. The setting at D6 Retreat, with the fog, is a perfect backdrop to contrast with vibrancy of this setting. The bride and groom are as in love as they appear, the fog envelops them as they dance and toast to a new life together. – C. Wright Photography
