Edwin proposed to Samantha three years ago in Lake Lanier, Georgia. They were in the park portion of Lanier when Edwin bent down on one knee while Samantha sat on a swing. Since then Edwin and Samantha have become authors. Edwin selected the venue of their wedding because he thought it fit well with the couple living in the south and being authors themselves. The venue, Mary Gay Historical Home, has quite a history. It’s most famous tenant, Mary Gay, witnessed with her own eyes the civil war from her home and its effects on civilian life in the south. Through these experiences she documented a book titled Life in Dixie During the War in the year 1897. The authors exchanged vows on a pleasant October evening in Decatur, Georgia and are currently enjoying wedded bliss while creating future tales for us to enjoy.
